Selegiline is typically given by mouth and is used off and on label to treat signs due to cognitive dysfunction syndrome, pituitary dependent Cushing’s disease, anxiety and certain phobias. Side effects may include vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, lack of appetite, and behavioral changes.
