Did you know between six and eight million pets enter animal shelters throughout the United States each year? Without identification, 90 percent of these pets will not return home. A Microchip is a permanent form of identification.

The procedure for implantation is simple and very similar to receiving a routine vaccination. A chip, about the size of a grain of rice, is implanted between the pet’s shoulder blades just below the skin. The process takes a few seconds and no anesthetic is required. A member of our team will then register your pet’s unique identification number along with your contact information into a national pet recovery database.
